Chevrolet Camaro 1970 Description
Up for Sale: Beautiful 1970 Chevy Camaro. Completely Restored in 2012. Every part rebuilt or replaced (except glass) . BODY: Body was media blasted and any rust was repaired. New quarter panels. trunk floor. and rear valance. New steel 4 inch cowl hood. Firewall has been flattened and smoothed out all factory heat and a/c was eliminated. All tail. marker and headlights where replaced. Also all badges where removed and welded in. All trim was replaced with reproduction chrome. WIRING: Fuse panel was relocated to passenger side for better access (see photo) all major electrical is inside the car on control board. All wiring was hidden as much as possible. Used a painless 14 circuit harness. power locks with remote. MSD digital 6 box. MSD distributor and 8. 5mm wires. ENGINE: TUFF DAWG 468 CI Chevy Big Block. Cast iron block with aluminum heads. Edelbrock Air gap intake. Holley 750 double pumper carb. Holley electric fuel pump and regulator. Milidon 7 quart oil pan with High psi oil pump. MSD ignition with locked advance at 30 degrees. All hoses are stainless braid with AN fittings. Lokar cables and dipstick. Complete March billet pulleys and brackets. Remote mount power steering with later model close ratio box. Aluminum 4 core radiator with dual electric fans. Exhaust is ran thru 2inch primary Patriot Ceramic headers to 3 inch stainless Magna Flow exhaust. The Mufflers are Stainless Flowmasters. There is an A/C compressor mounted on engine but it has never been hooked up. car was set up for vintage air but never installed. TRANSMISSION: Transmission is a built 700R4 with a manual valve body and a 2800 non lock up stall converter all electrics were removed. Billet pan and Lokar dipstick. Bowtie guys braided TV cable with Bell crank adjustment at carb. REAREND: GM 10 bolt rear end with 4:10 gear and detroit locker posi unit. Disc brakes with stainless brake lines. TIRES AN WHEELS: American racing 17x8 Torque Thrust M's on the front with 245/45/17 Nitto tires. American racing Torque Thrust M's on the rear with 275/35/17 Nitto tires. INTERIOR: Interior was sprayed with heat and sound deadner before juke pad and new carpet where installed. New dash pad. center console. seats and door panels. Also new rear panels and package tray.
