Scanned copy of title showing Actual Mileage of 44,974. Kruse Auction signage and photo copy of Kruse Auction flyer showing Mr. Johncock in front of his car. Letter from Kruse Auction to Mr. Willig dated September 22, 2004 clarifying the car he won was not the pace car used during the race but Mr. Johncock's Prize Pace Car presented to himfor winning the Indy 500. Pictures of the Gordy in frontof the car handing the keys to the new owner (after the auction) along with other pictures at the auction.
3rd Owner: David McDaniel purchases the car from Mr. Willig on August 23, 2007. Supporting Documents Include: Duplicate copies of several Cashiers checks from Mr. McDaniel to Mr. Willig dated August 23, 2007

Supporting Documents Include: Original Bill of Sale dated February 19, 2011by Mr. McDaniels selling the car to Jerry Strahan. Bill of Sales states "The original title is attached in the name of Gordon Walter Johncock dated 05/04/90. Mr. Strahan is the first owner to title the car in his name (since the auction in 2004) andscans a copy of the original title before relinquishing it to the CO DMV. A Carfax report confirms a title change and has no history prior to his ownership. Mr. Strahancontacted Chevrolet via emailin regards to the car and GM was able to confirm this car was a "company car" and would not have been delivered to a dealer.
5th Owner: Myself. I purchased on June 6, 2014 from Mr. Strahan and titled it in my name shortly thereafter. Supporting Documents Include: Original Bill of Sale. All registration tickets since purchased. Scanned copy of the title in Mr. Strahans name and signed by me before relinquishing it to the CO DMV. I have a clean CO title in hand which states Actual Mileage of 45,084. Current mileage on odometerreflects 45,098 as it has been mostly trailered to retain its integrity from when Mr. Johncock sold it with 44,974 miles.
What I know about the car:
The car has only been driven 124 miles since Mr. Johncock auctioned his car off almost 13 years ago. I was informed of the following updates when I purchased it. The first update was done by (the 2nd owner) the winner of the auction in 2004 who gave the car a fresh coat of paint as the original paint had faded. The 4th owner (who I purchased the car from) told me there were no updates made by the 3rd owner as he let it sit. He also mentioned the only updates he made were to paint a couple of the interior panels using special paint designed for plastic back to their original color because they were badly faded. He also replaced all of the cars exterior decals with high quality reproductions and replaced the rear shocks. As for myself. I had the car checked out by Camaro’s Plus here in Denver when I first got it. They replaced the oil pressure sending unit which was causing the gauge to jump around and replaced an exterior speedometer cable (which had become noisy) with a NOS Delco cable. I have receipts for these repairs. I just recently replaced the battery with a Gold Series Delco and the car fired right up. Still sounds great.
Upon inspection:
Interior:The interiorappears to beall original and in nice condition only showing light wear. No rips or tears in the seats. No stains in the carpet. The headliner is original and in nice condition. Glass is also in nice condition. Everything else appears to work gauges, lights, power windows, etc. Overall condition is reflective and consistent of a carwith only45,000 miles that has been well cared for. Only three opportunities that need attention. The A/C is not working, but appears to be all original and untouched. The electric antenna is not working and in the up position and last but not least the temperature gauge is now pegged out as of two weeks ago. I’m almost certain it’s the sending unit.
Mechanically: Runs and drives great. No oil or transmission leaks. Idles fine and drives smoothly. Accelerates and brakes fine. No exhaust leaks and no enginenoises. Cross Fire Injection Active Louvers work nicely. Suspension appears tight. Exterior lights all work. Overall in great mechanical condition.
Body: Very solid car. Doors, hood, & trunk allclose nicely. The front fascia and rear bumper cover are very nice with no warping, no deep scratches or scrapes. No rust throughout the whole car. No dents or repairs that I can see and the body lines are nice and straight. The doors jambs have not been painted and the original stickers with weight and tire pressure along with VINare still present. The paint is very nice and shiny but just shy of being perfect with an imperfection here or there upon really close inspection. Overall paint condition is a very nice paint job, but not high end.
