- July build date – one of the last one thousand 1966’s built

- Car is painted the original color Laguna Blue GM Code 978 - less than 2% of C2's were painted this 1966 only color

- Hardtop included (recently painted)– white convertible top (fair condition - was installed in early 1980's)

L79 original engine – 350 HP 327 CID now estimated at > 400 HP - engine reworked internallyby George DeLorean of Leader Automotive (a well known Detroit performance expert) – heads ported and polished multi-angle valve job hotter hydrailic cam Rhoads liftersL88 13 lb. flywheel (vs. 40 lb. stock) ignition & carburetor tuning MSD 6a with 6K limiter headers etc. - new clutch and pressure plate in 2014. This engine revs like it has no flywheel has the mechanical presence of an Italian exotic and pulls like a big block.

Retuned suspension (I was a Pontiac chassis development engineer) – bigger ft. bar (from bb Corvette) with Pontiac Trans Am WS6 bushings new VSE (Herb Adams) rr. bar adj. gasshocks 1" lowered ride height. VSE nyliner ft. bushings factory quick ratio steering setting (2.9 turnsmanual) 300 lb/in fiberglass rr. spring VSE adj. rear camber struts factory 427 halfshafts NCRS approved 5 bolt knock-offs (look like stock knock-offs) new radial tires - this car rides and handles like a contemporary sports car.

4 speed numbers matching M20 transmission (wide ratio) set on factory short throw shifter setting (fresh rebuild)- 3.70 positraction rear axle (was 3.36:1) - this combination gives the equivalent gearing of a 4.11 axle with a close ratio 4 speed for the first three gears.

Manual brakes have been updated with SS calipers semi-metallic brake pads and a 1967 Corvette dual master cylinder

Leather seats with 3" wide competition seat belts IP in very nice condition and restored gauges and AM/FM radio.

Original exhaust manifoldsseat belts and ignition shielding included as well as acomplete new manifold back exhaust system (pipes mufflers clamps).

This is a contemporary handling very responsive automobile that is a treat to drive.
