Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957 Description

You will turn heads when you complete the restoration of this timeless classic! I bought this car in Walla Walla, WA June of 1968 to haul my kids and go-kart and have the original title and paperwork.I got involved with too many cars over the years and am now selling because I have moved from cars to travel. Everything is original & I had the tranny rebuilt around 20K ago and the engine around the same number of miles ago but at different shops in Tacoma, WA. However the carb will surely need to be rebuilt or replaced. The radiator has a small leak so it needed to be refilled each week. The car has been in my garage for the last 25 years but have not driven it for around 5-6 years. I cannot find the key but still may find it somewhere. I took it to a guy who did not know what he was doing and he installed a small push button starter in the dash that is barely noticeable. The fuel tank will probably need to be drained. I had to do that with my Delorean when it sat for years but the car started and runs fine.Along the way I bought extra parts and pieces and have everything to finish the restoration with extras. Wonderbar radio, points, plugs, filters, ect from JC Whitney, Schucks..You MAY be able to make repairs and drive the car but I doubt it. The brakes seems to work but.. This is one of the old trannys that will allow you to pull the car and start it in low gear if the battery dies. I have a nice glass for the tailgate, like new hub caps, and more.I am enclosing initial photos but will send more of any area that you like.I travel a lot so the best way to contact me is [email protected]. I will list the car locally so I reserve the right to remove listing if it sell here in my area.It is the buyers responsibility to transport but I will assist in any way that I can.
I HAVE SEEN SOME LISTINGS THAT SAY WILL NOT SELL TO AUSTRLIA BUT DO NOT KNOW WHY NOT SO I WILL EXPLORE ALL OPTONS WITH CAUTION.
