Ford Bronco 1973 Description

Offered for sale is a well preserved, ery solid 1973 Ford Bronco with a steel half cab and bulkhead. It has its factory 302 V-8, utomatic transmission, ower steering, nd power disc brakes. It runs and drives great. It cruises nicely at highway speeds, nd is awesome in town. It starts easily, nd sounds great with its dual exhaust. It steers easily and has no wander, obble or excessive play. The steering is tight. The brakes work just as they should with no pulse or pull. It shifts crisply, nd you could drive this anywhere. The tires are excellent and it doesn't really need anything to be driven it as it is. The brake lights, eadlights, arking lights, ipers, tc. all work as they should The horn doesn't. I've never looked into it because I never used it anyway. It's a great start for someone who wants to fix up a first generation Bronco but doesn't want to pay the crazy money they sell for when done.

This is NOT some off-roaded, usted out project that has beaten to death. It has had an easy life without any abuse and has been in Florida for over 25 years. One drive and you'll know. It drives better than any old Jeep and is in great shape. The body is virtually rust-free and is very solid. The worst part is the drip edge of the removable hard top/half cab. Its bubbly and crumbly. It's been caulked to keep it water tight, ut should be blasted and filled to make it look better. I know the new owner has many options...repairing the cab on it now, eplacing the half cab, nstalling a bikini top, full soft top, r installing a full hard top. All are readily available from a number of sources. Also, stock style roll bar, full cage, r a custom set up can be bought affordably online too. The choices are endless as to which way to go with it.

The interior floor and the cargo area has been sprayed with Rhino Liner. The interior looks amazing and they did a great job. The seats were recovered recently, nd they look new. The top could use new weatherstripping where it meets the doors, ut if you're going to remove it, t won't matter. The cargo area looks good, nd still has holes for a roll bar. The tailgate is solid and opens smoothly. No rust, nd a solid floor throughout. There are a few paint chips and nicks, nd a bubble here and there, ut generally speaking, ts amazing for the year and is more solid than the majority of the 1966-1977 Broncos that are still out there. I didn't clean anything for the photos. I photographed it exactly as it is every day. No fluff and buff to make it appear better than it is. What you see is what you get. No fancy location or back drop...just a super cool old Ford.

The speedometer works, nd is semi-accurate. The temp and amp gauge work, ut the fuel gauge doesn't. I just fill it up and drive. It still has dual tanks and the transfer switch works. If you do run out, ust switch tanks and keep going.
